Local schools closed due to severe weather

Due to Saturday afternoon's severe weather, the following Wake County Schools will be closed on Monday, April 18:

Harris Creek Elementary

Holly Grove Elementary

Holly Grove Middle

Holly Springs Elementary

Moore Square Middle

All other Wake County year-round and modified calendar schools will operate normally. Traditional calendar schools are on spring break the week of April 18.

Make up days will be announced as soon as they are determined.
