Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina businesses, schools and churches will be Painting the Town Purple with purple bows, streamers, balloons and lights from May 6 through 17 leading up to South Wake Relay For Life on May 18 and 19. During the band’s annual spring concert on Saturday, April 6, two musicians were honored. Members Rebecca Daniel and Josie Borchert were presented a certificate and a scholarship by Bonnie Borchert, the conductor, and Gary Adams, the band president.
