Dear Editor,
I’m writing a letter to tell you how I feel about the fact that there is not a bike lane or sidewalk between Holly Springs Town Hall and the Arbor Creek neighborhood.
I ride my bike to the library at the Holly Springs Cultural Arts Center behind Town Hall from Arbor Creek and do not like riding on the busy road. I am scared of getting hit by a car when I ride my bike on Route 55.
Since bikers are not supposed to ride on the sidewalk, a bike lane would be the best solution. I know a sidewalk would be used by the most people.
I hope the Holly Springs Town Council will consider a sidewalk for us.
