Mr. and Mrs. Grant Coleman of Apex announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Dawn Coleman of Apex, to Maylon-James Fowler of Raleigh. Maylon-James is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis L. Fowler of Holly Springs. Miss Coleman is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Godwin of Scranton, S.C., and Mr. Jack H. Coleman and the late Carole Dawn Coleman of Timmonsville, S.C.
Brittany graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science in May 2010. The bride will graduate from East Carolina University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2013.
Mr. Fowler is the grandson of Mrs. Sara Chappell Ragan of Fuquay-Varina and the late Mr. Clarence Ragan, Mr. Robert James (Bobby) Chappell and Mr. and Mrs. Maylon H. Fowler. Maylon-James graduated for North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science in 2008. He is employed as a loan officer with Corporate Investors Mortgage Group of Raleigh, NC. The Wedding is planned for August 4, 2012 at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church.
